Holly’s service was recommended to me by a family friend. I was initially sceptical about consulting her because I didn’t feel that I was a “classic” case. The other major problem was that I lived three hundred miles away from “Its Nutrition”, on the south coast, so I could hardly pop along for a chat!
I was taking advice from a GP about a general, though largely unexplained, deterioration in my health. I didn’t need to lose weight – if anything I needed to bulk up a bit – but I was prepared to try anything and everything in an attempt to improve my wellbeing. Professional, specialist advice about the best things to eat seemed like a sensible complement to conventional medicine, and it had the blessing of my doctor.
Holly accepted the challenge, and I couldn’t believe how much better I felt, even in the short-term..
When I first got in touch with Holly, I was following a very low carb/sugar diet, and my energy levels were zero.
After I’d completed an initial assessment form and a seven-day food diary, Holly provided a new food plan for me, which immediately showed an improvement in my health and energy levels.
It was also established that I had gluten and dairy intolerances, so Holly adapted my eating plan accordingly. Grains and gluten free carbohydrates were gradually reintroduced to my diet, along with fruit, veg, lean proteins and good fats.
I received a weekly plan, with recipes, shopping list and exactly what I needed to eat, and Holly kept in constant touch throughout the two months, so that if I was struggling with a particular recipe or ingredient, she could tweak the plan to make things easier for me.
I’m now a much happier, fitter person – and a better cook!
